Set organization language and formatting region

Admins can set an organization’s language and formatting region in Administration > Account > General Settings > Localization.

The account language controls the language of Sigma UI text for users in your organization and consumers of embedded analytics. The format region controls how dates and numbers display across your organization according to the specified region’s conventions.

Requirements

• You must be assigned the Admin account type.

Set the organization language

You can set the account language to any of the supported languages. The default account language is English (United States) (en).

To change the organization language:

1. Go to Administration > Account > General Settings.

2. Under Localization, click Edit.

3. Use the drop-down menu under Account language to select your preferred language.

4. Click Save.

Set the formatting region for your organization

By default, Sigma derives the formatting region from the account language when available. Otherwise, the formatting region defaults to United States. To change the formatting region and format dates and numbers according to that region’s conventions:

1. Go to Administration > Account > General Settings.

2. Under Localization, click Edit.

3. For Formatting region, use the dropdown to select a region.

4. Click Save.
