AI cost templates | Sigma Documentation

Sigma provides a set of templates that monitor AI spend, usage, and adoption. Each template targets a specific AI provider or product family, and each one is set up with sample data so you can explore the analysis before you connect your own data.

To use any of these templates, you must be assigned an account type with the Create, edit, and publish workbooks permission enabled. To use your own data instead of the sample data, your organization must be connected to a data platform that contains the source tables the template expects.

If you use Snowflake Cortex, choose between the two Snowflake templates based on scope: the Snowflake AI spend template covers Cortex AI Functions only, and the Snowflake Cortex cost template covers every Cortex product.
