Web Browser
The latest version of the Chrome Web Browser is recommended. Other browsers and versions are not extensively tested. If you encounter issues with any of the listed browsers, please let us know by contacting support.
Minimum Browser Versions
Chrome — 80.0
Safari — 13.0
Firefox — 91.0
Edge — 18.0
Opera — 79.0
Hardware Requirements
Sigma will run on any Desktop or Notebook computer that supports a modern web browser. Dashboards are mobile friendly.
We recommend using Sigma at 1024x768 screen resolution or above.
Data Warehouses
Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift, Postgres, and Databricks.
User Authentication and Security
Sigma uses Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0 (SAML 2.0), a widely adopted security protocol for single sign on. We integrate with any provider that supports SAML 2.0. If you are a Snowflake user, you may also configure OAuth with Snowflake.
Cloud Service Options
Sigma supports both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Your cloud platform must be selected at the time of organization creation and cannot be changed at a later date. By default all Sigma organizations are created with AWS.
Please contact your Sigma Account Executive or if you are interested in learning more about either option.
