Workbook Version History

Workbook version history is a list of all prior publications. It contains a detailed list of edits, called the edit history. Both the version history and its edit history are helpful when reviewing drafted changes, comparing or reverting to older published versions, or identifying who on your team made a specific edit or set of changes.

This document tells how to view a workbook's version history and restore old versions.

Note: Edit history was not available prior to 12/13/2022. Beginning 12/13/2022, all organizations with live edit enabled track edits in the edit history. Edits made prior to live edit being enabled remain untracked. Live edit and the edit log are gradually being rolled out to legacy organizations. Organizations Admins will be notified before the change is made.
