Dashboard Auto Refresh

Your Dashboard data is refreshed every time someone opens or refreshes the page.

If you would like your data to refresh without user action, you can set a custom auto refresh schedule under dashboard settings. We recommend this option if you are primarily displaying the dashboard on a screen, where people may be referencing it without actively interacting with it.

Set an Auto Refresh Schedule

  1. Open the Settings menu.

  2. Click the toggle switch to turn on Auto-Refresh.

Dashboard Fonts

Sigma supports a variety of fonts for your dashboard. On each dashboard you have the option to choose both a text font and a data font.

Text fonts are applied to visualization headers, control element labels, text elements, and buttons. Sigma’s default text font is Source Sans Pro.

Data fonts are applied to all non-header text on visualizations and control inputs. Sigma’s default data font is Roboto.

Selecting Fonts

  1. Open the Settings menu.

  2. Open the Text Font and/or Data Font dropdown menu(s) to select a font from the provided list.

Reseting Default Fonts

By default, all dashboards apply Source Sans Pro for text font and Roboto for data font. Both of these options can be reselected from the font menu. Fonts will also be reset to their default if the dashboard theme is changed.

Custom Fonts

Sigma supports custom fonts on dashboards and visualizations. Custom fonts can be uploaded at the organization level and subsequently used on any dashboard or visualization in that organization. Organizations are not limited to one custom font.

Any custom font supported by your organization can be selected from the dashboard settings menu, under Text Font and/or Data Font.

Custom font upload requires Admin permissions. If you are not an organization Admin, please contact your Admin with a request to upload a custom font.

Dashboard Button Styles

Sigma supports three dashboard button styles: square, round, and pill. The style you select will be applied to all button elements in the dashboard. Tooltips on visualizations will also receive the same style.

Select a Button Style

  1. Open the Settings menu in the dashboard toolbar.

  2. Select a style from the Button Style menu.
