- You have edit permission on the dashboard.

The Settings Menu
To open the settings menu, click on the gear icon in the Dashboard toolbar.
Dashboard Auto Refresh
Your Dashboard data is refreshed every time someone opens or refreshes the page.
If you would like your data to refresh without user action, you can set a custom auto refresh schedule under dashboard settings. We recommend this option if you are primarily displaying the dashboard on a screen, where people may be referencing it without actively interacting with it.
Setting an Auto Refresh Schedule

Open the Settings menu.

Click the toggle switch to turn on Auto-Refresh.

Select your custom schedule.
Dashboard Themes
On each of your dashboards, you can select one of our suggested color schemes or create your own.
Switching between Default Light and Dark Mode

Open the Settings menu.

Select 'Light' or 'Dark' from dropdown menu next to 'Theme'.
Note: changing themes resets dashboard fonts to their defaults.
Selecting a Color Palette Theme

Open the Settings menu.

Open the Colors menu.

Select a color palette under the Palettes tab.
Your dashboard theme will update automatically.
Creating a Custom Theme

Open the Settings menu.

Open the Colors menu.

Select the Custom tab.

Select your custom palette colors.
Dashboard Fonts
Sigma supports a variety of fonts for your dashboard. On each dashboard you have the option to choose both a text font and a data font.
Text fonts are applied to visualization headers, control element labels, text elements, and buttons. Sigma’s default text font is Source Sans Pro.
Data fonts are applied to all non-header text on visualizations and control inputs. Sigma’s default data font is Roboto.
Selecting Fonts

Open the Settings menu.

Open the Text Font and/or Data Font dropdown menu(s) to select a font from the provided list.
Reseting Default Fonts
By default, all dashboards apply Source Sans Pro for text font and Roboto for data font. Both of these options can be reselected from the font menu. Fonts will also be reset to their default if the dashboard theme is changed.
Recommended Font Combinations
Dashboard Button Styles
Sigma supports three dashboard button styles: square, round, and pill. The style you select will be applied to all button elements in the dashboard. Tooltips on visualizations will also receive the same style.
