Dashboard Sections

Dashboards in Sigma are constructed with sections and elements. Arrange elements within sections to build your dashboard.

When you first create a dashboard, you can either choose a template or start from scratch. When starting from a template, Sigma will create a dashboard with one or several sections, and elements placed within it. You can then rearrange the elements, add more, or delete. You can also add additional sections, choosing to add a section with one element or from a section template.

Add a New Section at the Bottom of the Dashboard

  1. Scroll to the bottom of your dashboard
  2. Click the green ‘Add Section’ button
  3. Choose if you would like to add a section with several elements or if you would like to start with a single element
  4. You now have a new section on your dashboard! You can drag elements into this section from other sections, or add new elements within the section

Add a New Section Between Sections

You can add a new section above any existing section.

  1. Hover over any section to display the section menu
  2. Click the gear icon to open the section options
  3. Click on ‘Add Section Above’
  4. Choose if you would like to add a section with several elements or if you would like to start with a single element
  5. You now have a new section on your dashboard! You can drag elements into this section from other sections, or add new elements within the section

Move a Section

You can also move entire sections up or down on your dashboard.

  1. Hover over the section you would like to move, and the section options will appear at the upper left corner of the section
