Formatting Table Visualizations
- Create a Table Chart or Pivot Table OR open an existing one.
- Open the ‘Format’ tab in your visualization editor.
- Click on the subsection titled 'CONDITIONAL FORMATTING' to expand.
- Click the blue + Add another rule button to add your first rule.
- A popup box will appear prompting you to customize your rule. First select 'Single Color' or 'Color Scale'.
- Under 'Apply to field(s)', select the field or fields you would like to apply the rule to.
The available fields are dependent on the columns you add to your visualization's Plot. - If you chose a 'Single Color' rule, select your 'Formatting Rule', 'Font Color', and 'Background Color'.
If you chose a 'Color Scale' rule, select your 'Scale Type' and a color scale. - Watch as your chart adjusts to your changes.
Set a Custom Domain For Color Scales
- In the Visualization editors 'Format' tab, open the CONDITIONAL FORMATTING subsection, and create a new rule.
- Select 'Color Scale'.
- Open the color dropdown menu.
- Toggle 'Customize domain'.
- Set Minimum, Middle, and Maximum numeric for your scale.
