# View license utilization

Sigma provides information about your organization’s license utilization, which can be monitored for cost control, license allocation, and compliance purposes.

This document explains how to view your organization’s license utilization by tier. For more information about Sigma’s licensing model, see [Account type and license overview](/docs/account-type-and-license-overview).

## User requirements

To view license usage, you must be assigned the **Admin** [account type](/docs/account-type-and-license-overview).

## View license utilization

1. Go to **Administration** > **Account types**:

   1. In the Sigma header, click your user avatar to open the user menu.

   2. Select **Administration** to open the **Administration** portal.

   3. In the side panel, select **Account types**.

2. In the **Account types** page, reference the **Licenses in use field** to view the number of active internal and guest members in each license tier (embed members are excluded from license usage).
