# Share and export reports

> Share and export Sigma reports as PDFs. Control access, configure export settings, and distribute pixel-perfect reports to your audience.

This document covers how to share and export your report. For more information about reports, see [Reports overview](/docs/reports-overview).

## User requirements

* You must be assigned an [account type](/docs/account-type-and-license-overview) with the **Share documents** permission enabled.
* You must be the report owner or be granted **Can edit** [access to the document](/docs/folder-and-document-permissions).

## Limitations

* A maximum of 10,000 rows per table appears in exports.
* Before exporting a report for the first time, you must publish it.
* Cross-organization sharing of reports is not yet supported.

## Share a report with other members of your organization

To invite a specific member or team to access your report:

When you share a document with someone, they are also granted **View** access to the data in the connection data sources.

1. From the document menu, select **Share and export** > **Share**.
2. Search for and enter an email address, organization member or team in Sigma you want to share your report with.
3. In the **Permission** dropdown, select your desired permission. For more information on permission options, see [Folder and document permissions](/docs/folder-and-document-permissions).
4. Repeat for any additional members or teams.
5. To add a message along with your report, enter a message in the **Add a message** field.
6. To send an email notification along with your report, select the **Send email** checkbox.
7. Select **Share**.

To share your report with everyone in your organization by link:

Guest users and external users cannot access a report shared with your organization.

1. In the report header, click **Share** (<img src="https://sigma-docs-screenshots.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/Icons/share-user.svg" alt="" />) to open the **Share Report** modal. You can also share a report from the document menu.
2. At the bottom of the modal, turn on the **Share with everyone in your organization** toggle.
3. For **All members of your organization**, choose from the available permissions. The following permissions are available:

   * Can view
   * Can explore
   * Can edit

   After you set the permission, the report can be shared.
4. Click **Copy Link** to copy the link to the report to share with others.

## Download a report

You can download the published or draft version of a report as a PDF:

1. Open the document menu of the report, then select **Share and export** > **Export**.
