# Notice for the use of agent skills for Sigma

> Legal notice for Sigma agent skills: open source under Apache 2.0. Skills are not part of the Sigma Services under your agreement.

Sigma publishes agent skills for Sigma as open source under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (“**Skills License**”). Skills are not a part of Sigma Services, as provided to you (the Customer or a User using the Service on behalf of the Customer) under the Customer Agreement. Instead, these Skills are made available for use by the general public under the Skills License. Accordingly, Sigma’s provision of the Skills and your access, installation, and use of the Skills are governed by the Skills License, not the Customer Agreement. The Customer Agreement however remains applicable and governs your use of the Service, including any features and functionalities within the Service (e.g., [Sigma REST API](/docs/notice-for-sigma-api)).
